What it covers
Damage that undermines the structure or makes it unfit for use: water ingress, loss of watertightness, failed mountings.

Work insured for ten years
Every French building contractor must hold ten-year liability insurance (garantie décennale). For a solar installation as for a roof, it protects you for ten years after handover.

Damage that undermines the structure or makes it unfit for use: water ingress, loss of watertightness, failed mountings.

Electricity output itself is generally not covered by the ten-year warranty: panel and inverter manufacturer warranties apply.

Our QualiPV “Bât” qualification certifies our competence in building-integrated panels while keeping the roof watertight.
Fitting panels means working on the building envelope: removing tiles, drilling, fixing rails, running cables through the roof. A leak may appear years later. The ten-year warranty then covers repairing the damage.
Before signing, always ask for the installer’s current ten-year insurance certificate and check that it explicitly covers photovoltaic work.
